Happy Friday everyone! Hope you’re ready for another great weekend of college football.
Here is where the consensus power ratings stand heading into the weekend. Oregon and Ole Miss continue to creep closer and closer to those top 4 teams. For those wondering why a 2 loss Ole Miss is so high, their losses were both by 3 points and outside of that they have dominated on the year. While losses are never good, power ratings won’t be as reactive to them especially in close losses because the goal is looking ahead, not backward.
The biggest risers from the previous week. South Carolina has to punch above its weight class nearly every week of the year, so to see them at 19 + a shoe in to make a bowl this year is pretty impressive.
Our biggest fallers include Wisconsin, who got beat up by Iowa, and Arizona, who got beat up by UCF and have been a disappointment this year based on preseason expectations.
